The Ball State women’s basketball team returns home after spending its Thanksgiving break at the Omni Hotels Classic in Boulder, Colo., to host Ohio Valley Thursday at 7 p.m. and Butler on Sunday at 2 p.m. Both games will be played in Worthen Arena and on ESPN 3, as Ball State Sports Link productions.
After last week’s competition, Ball State improved to 3-2 on the season with wins over Austin Peay (72-44) and UMass (81-54). The Cardinals fell shot against Florida (79-85). The last time Ball State started its non-conference season with a 3-2 mark was in 2008-09 under former head coach Kelly Packard. This is the first time under Coach Sallee that Ball State has started the season 3-2.
Thursday’s game will be directed by senior Alex Seitz, with juniors Connor Onion and Allison Luthman on the call. Seitz will also direct Sunday’s women’s game vs. Butler, while senior Zac Miklusak will direct Saturday’s Ball State men’s game with New Orleans, also on ESPN 3.
