College Basketball on @ESPN3 Highlights SL Week

Ball State Sports Link will produce its 10th and 11th live athletics events of the semester, respectively, with two college basketball games for ESPN 3 this week.

During the Fall 2016 semester alone, Sports Link has produced televised contests for women’s volleyball, soccer, field hockey, men’s swimming, women’s swimming, women’s basketball and men’s basketball.

In the first broadcast this week, Ball State women’s basketball hosts Chicago State at 7 p.m. Dec. 1 in a broadcast produced by Allison Wilson and directed by Brielle Hill.  Connor Onion, Cory Stace and Allison Luthman will be the announce team.

UnknownThe Cardinals will be led by junior forward Moriah Monaco, who earned all-tournament honors at the Savannah Invitational last week after averaging 16.7 points, 5.0 rebounds and 5.0 assists while knocking down 10 3-pointers in three games.  Monaco has scored in double figures in all of the Cardinals games this season

Sports Link will round out its Fall 2016 broadcasts Saturday.

Ball State men’s basketball hosts in-state rival IUPUI at 2 p.m. in a telecast produced by Torey Fox and directed by Hill.  Tyler Bradfield, Noah Reed and Mick Tidrow will be the talent team.

The Cardinals have had five different players lead the team in scoring in their seven contests, resulting in an astounding 17.7 assists per game, placing the Cardinals 22nd in the country in that category.  Tayler Persons leads the team with nearly 16 points per game and 5.7 assists per outing.
