The baseball broadcaster Joel, does not do well commenting on ‘baseball’. He is so disrespectful. He talks up the opposing teams players constantly while throwing out little jabs about the Ball State players. He has said things like ‘that was a sloppy swing, he just stood there like a statue’ or ‘a sac fly isn’t really a big deal. It’s only one run. You’re basically throwing a blanket on it’ today we got to hear how amazing it is about the opposing teams player that has 16 doubles. Ball State has 2 players with 18 doubles but he never gives out players stats like he does for the other team. Once a Ball state player was at bat and all Joel talked about was how great the other teams pitcher was. Today he complained that ball state doesn’t score many runs like all the other teams. BALL STATE IS 1 GAME FROM 1ST PLACE! These men have put in thousands of hours over the last 16 years and would appreciate a commentator from their own school to have their back. To actually broadcast their good qualities and stats, rather than always hearing how this player is struggling or this one runs too slow. He speaks well and has a good radio voice but beyond that he needs serious training on how to be a team player. I know of several listeners that agree he is terrible and has no idea how to commentate baseball properly.
